His beginnings in design and web development led him eventually towards videography, which culminated in the evolution of an idea that ended up becoming MediaCore. In his spare time he’s an avid surfer, sailor, diver and all round water-sports fan. If it involves the water and a wetsuit, he’s game.
Damien is devoted to advancing web technology. His beginnings as a developer evolved into a deep passion for growing businesses in emerging fields, which has led him to focus on infrastructure as a service in areas including video and real-time messaging.
Born and raised in the world of Python, Nathan has spent the past number of years contributing to a variety open-source projects and immersing himself in the world of cloud computing. Aside from technology, he has a mad passion for rock climbing and outdoor pursuits.
Anthony believes the technological revolution is just beginning. He comes from a background in web development and machine learning research and is driven to create software that enables people to make use of vast amounts of information in ways never before imagined. Mike Mabey, entrepreneur; former VP Blackboard, Collaborate Division
Mike is a serial entrepreneur with a long history of successfully leading technically challenging large-scale software endeavors. Mike has co-founded several technology firms and taken them from idea to exit. His most recent success was as co-founder and CTO of Elluminate, an education sector web conferencing company with millions of users and annual sales of over $20 million, that was sold to publicly traded Blackboard Inc. Prior to Elluminate, Mike was the co-founder and CTO of EraSoft Technologies, which was acquired by Nasdaq listed ViaSoft. Mike was responsible for the development of a product line that quickly became the industry leader in its class-growing from concept to $75 million in sales in under 36 months.
Hervé Marchet, CTO, GEMS World Academy, Dubai
Hervé spent 12 years at Apple. In his last position, he was EMEIA Director and a member of the European Leadership Team reporting directly to the VP & GM of Apple EMEIA. Hervé was leading the sales & marketing as well as the business development of Apple in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa for the Education markets. Education markets include B2B (Schools, Universities, Research) and B2C (Teachers, Lecturers, Students). Before joining Apple, Hervé was Managing Director of the Latin American division of Packard Bell NEC and was responsible for the Operations, Sales and Marketing of the territory, based in the USA. Previous to his work at Packard Bell NEC, Hervé was the Sales Director of Zenith Data System for the account "French DoD". Currently he serves as CTO at GEMS World Academy.
Professor Steve Molyneux, CEO, iPad Academy
Steve has been one of the leading players in the eLearning movement in the UK since the early 1990s. In 1994 he was responsible for the development of one of the first VLE/LMSs and has been a pioneer in the concept of Classroom Flipping. From 2001-2003 he was Director of the UK's Department for Education and Training Research Centre into ICT in Education and has also been advisor to the Deputy Chief of Defence Staff on Technology Training for the Military as well as the Department of Health. He has been an Apple Distinguished Educator since 2001 and is a regular speaker at Apple events across EMEA. In 2012 he founded The iPad Academy, the UK's leading provider of Training and Consultancy in the educational use of iPads.

Greg is a pioneer within education for his development and implementation of the flipped school model. His work as a school administrator has been well documented by many national media outlets and publications including CNN, Fast Company Magazine, New York Bloomberg News, E-School News, November Learning, Harvard’s Graduate School and Canada’s Globe and Mail News for his re–design of today’s classrooms and schools. In 2011, Greg was selected to TechSmith’s Top 20 Educators To Watch List and to Converge Magazine’s Top 50 Educators for his inventive practice and school redesign. He is an internationally recognized speaker who has spoken about educational reform, learning structures, technology and research implementation techniques.
