Announcing the new Blackboard Building Block
Adding media to Blackboard has always been a challenge for educators eager to share high quality video, images, documents and audio recordings within their Blackboard environment. Whether it was a restriction on file size, a mixture of different file types or the need to share media across devices, uploading has been a difficult and drawn-out task.
Our new Blackboard Building Block makes these challenges a thing of the past. Now you can browse, search and securely embed media from your MediaCore library into Blackboard with just one click.
Take a tour of the new plugin
Using the building block, media from your computer can be uploaded directly to Blackboard and stored in your MediaCore library. Once uploaded it’s automatically converted into formats supported across any device – mobile, tablet or desktop. This makes it much easier to share rich media content from within Blackboard with a colleague, class or year group.
The building block also lets you take advantage of MediaCore’s flexible permission schemes to control access to your content within your Blackboard environment.
