Upload video to Edublogs with the new MediaCore plugin
We’re really excited to be announcing our latest partnership, which is with Edublogs, the blogging platform that powers more than 1.7 million educator blogs across the world.
The platform is popular with our users so we’ve created a plugin that makes it simple to browse, search and add videos directly from a MediaCore site into Edublogs. The plugin also allows you to upload videos to MediaCore without leaving your Edublog site. MediaCore encodes the video and provides fast, high quality playback in all browsers and on mobile devices.
MediaCore and Edublogs user Brian Lockwood, Technical Director at Nanjing International School, gave his thoughts:
“The big selling point for me is that it makes video-based learning as part of Edublogs much simpler. That’s a real benefit for both staff and students and I look forward to seeing how this helps to take our use of both services to the next level.”
Ronnie Burt, Director of Operations at Edublogs, also welcomed the new partnership with MediaCore and said: “Video is a powerful way to engage students and we’re delighted that MediaCore users will now be able to add video to their blogs quickly and simply. This makes it easy for teachers to manage their students’ videos from right inside their blog dashboards.”
